Louis Davids (1883-1939) was a Dutch cabaretier and revue artist, who also appeared in twenty Dutch films, both silent and sound pictures. He is widely considered one of the Netherlands biggest names in performing arts ever and many of his songs are evergreens in The Netherlands.

Impressive Dutch actor Adolphe Engers (1884-1945) appeared in some 50 German and Dutch films in the 1920s and 1930s.
