Pathetic scam

I want to expose and put into public knowledge this pathetic rip-off so that maybe it helps a little bit to stop those suckers, or to prevent some other people from being swindled by them. Not that I can achieve much from this humble Flickr feed, but I do know that Google is indexing all my tags, so I'll try to enter as many relevant words as possible. It seems that this hoax is well known on the Internet.

I live in a shared flat in London that has been occupied 100% by Spaniards during the last two years. This is the third time we receive this letter, addressed to one of the previous tenants, who is not even living in this country any more.

The letters come without sender, but the postmark seems to be from Roquetas de Mar (Almería, Spain). The letter includes some physical addresses and telephone numbers, but I didn't even bother to check those. I have taken the picture here at the maximum quality that my digicam is capable of, so that everyone can read even the smallest print.

I hate people who do things like this. And I hate the fact that so many companies, organisations and even individuals are fucking loose (to say the least) about disclosing others' personal information.

But, most of all, I really hate the lack of style they display. It's like e-mail spam: you could spot it with closed eyes by their ugly composition, poor imagination, bad writing, spelling errors and deplorable overall design.
