Monkey Socks

Monkeys made my socks!

No, wait...I did!

Well, regardless of who made the socks, I like them quite a lot! The pattern was very easy to follow and looks great...the perfect follow-up to the intricacies of the Bayerische socks. The photo is a bit dark, but the colors are an almost exact match to those of the actual socks. I adore the colorway of this yarn (how could I not love a colorway that includes all of my favorite shades of red?), and will probably buy more from Fleece Artist in the future.

Pattern: Monkey

Yarn: Fleece Artist Merino. Based on this page, I think the colorway was Ruby Red, but as the hank wasn't labeled, I'm not quite sure.

Needles: Knitpicks dpns, size 0. I bought the Knitpicks dpns in sizes 0 to 3 and like them with the exception of the size 0 set. The reason I bought these needles was that I had managed to warp my size 0 and size 1 bamboo dpns after only 2 or 3 pairs of socks and hoped that metal needles would be less prone to warping. This is not true for knitpicks' hollow needles in size 0, so prospective buyers might want to keep that in mind.
