Moscow State University, one Stalin's "Seven Sisters"

There are seven buildings with similar Russian Gothic architecture that rise above the Moscow skyline. They were commissioned by Stalin after WWII. This one was apparantly the tallest building in Europe until 1990.

 

I've heard rumors that they are buliding a new one in Moscow with a more modern flare to it..
