This is a 36 shot panorama of the Milky Way rising above a dry salt lake near Bencubbin, 3.5 hours north east of Perth in Western Australia.
This panorama was shot shortly before the one I posted at the end of July. That spot, just perhaps 100m to the left, had some shallow water but this was pretty dry, as you can see.
Prominent in this image are the Large & Small Magellanic Clouds just right of centre, to the right of those is the red Gum Nebula. Justs left of that is the pink Carina Nebula and in the top left is the colourful Rho Ophiuchi Cloud Complex, adjacent to the Blue Horsehead Nebula.
