This is a 42 shot panorama of the Milky Way setting over The Pinnacles Desert, two hours north of Perth in Western Australia.

 

I set up some low(ish) level lighting for this foreground, something I don't normally do but just wanting a different effect here. I used a couple of dedicated astronomy torches with individual brightness controls, they're probably not as subtle as proper low level lighting rigs but decent enough.
