me tools...
here is an updated pic of my tools. a few things are missing but this is pretty much the bulk of it. This is August 2008.
1. LED wands. I buy strings of battery operated LEDs from various places and then tape them to a stick.
2. My newly created hoop! For those who asked for a pic here it is. No different from the wands except it is a circle. I hope to make a giant one soon.
3. Large hand crank powered LED work light
4. 9 red LED blinking mini safety light with 1 white LED in the end.
5. 2 way light. A regular flashlight bulb in the end and a 6 inch flourescent tube light.
6. rosco gel swatch books for the flash
7. Minolta 2800 AF. Does not even fit my camera but it cost 12 bucks and has a decent cycle time.
8. LED toys from the dollar store. both have been hacked apart to shine more.
9. Light writing pen with a on-when-pushed-only switch. works just like an airbrush and was made following a tutorial on lightdoodles.com.
10. Dollar store LED mini flashlights.
11. Various LED keychains and finger lights in a variety of colors. From the dollar store.
12. Small blinking 3 LED light from a broken toy. Runs on batteries!!
13. 3W LED light. This one has a very focused beam.
14. 10 color LED flashlight. Works great for painting things different colors.
15. 9 LED light and 14 LED light for drawing and writing.
16. Plastic multi color cone from another LED toy. The LED that came with it is not bright enough so I use one of the previously mentioned lights to illuminate it instead.
17. Blinking red traffic wand.
18. Battery operated LED strings still in the [ackage. many people requested a pic of these so here they are....
Things on my shopping list are some portable cold cathodes and a new flash.
