Cable Car Nights
I took the capture for this image on the first night of our stay in San Francisco. We had arrived in town after dark but I was too excited to sleep. We stayed in a hotel downtown and the city was buzzing with life. Chrissy went to bed and I grabbed my tripod and just looked for something fun to shoot. I was infatuated with motion that night and this was my favorite capture from that evening.
The photo was processed in Photoshop and Nik Sofware plugins. It was tone mapped in HDR Efex pro to make the textures in the building and the bricks pop. I also changed the geometry a touch to make the top of the metro stop straight. The final image was created using layers and opacity masks in Photoshop CS5.
