Look into the Air
Four days of grueling trekking in Patagonia brought us to the Campamento Torres. A small rugged campsite. We didn't get much sleep due to the frigid temperatures and terrible mattresses. At the early hour of 4am we set off into the darkness.
Flashlights already snaking up the trail. We crawl, gasp, and wonder what the hell we are doing at this god forsaken hour.
We stumble across granite boulders and literally out of breath look up into the air to this magnificent view.
These are the famed spires "Torres del Paine" which is what the national park is named after. The parks 'icon', but its one of many. The sunrise here is across from here, but the sun hits it and creates these magnificent colours. After 4 days of trekking, is it worth it? Hell friggin' yeah it is!
