orglamix blush

edit: Cheri's etsy shop clearly states the following are the ingredients in her blushes:

*Organic Mineral Blush

mica, sericite, black iron oxide, red iron oxide, yellow iron oxide, camellia sinensis (organic white tea) extract, vitis vinifera (organic grapeseed) extract."

You can see from the UNCOVERED label above, that is not the case at all in these products I have here.

In light of the current situation with Orglamix/Candy Glam right now - you can read about it here: www.notmakingitup.net/2011/02/seriously-orglamix-seriousl... - i decided to go check out my Orglamix products (which have all been purchased in the last 3-4 months, nothing earlier) for any relabels, just to make sure. This is what I found when I looked at 3 recent blushes (one is not pictured - Coriander) purchased less than a month ago. The only label I could actually remove in a legible fashion was Nutmeg, as seen here - however the other two have the same duplicate labels underneath that I could read when held up to the light.

I had concerns about these being private label products with Orglamix labels slapped on top. However, there were no brand names on the bottom labels, and the color names did match the Orglamix labels.

Cheri did reply to my concerns and said the following when I asked if these were relabeled Orglamix products, or relabeled NON-Orglamix products:

"I have newer labels with my logo & anything that has been relabeled has been because of that or a misspelling or a name change. Sometimes I create a shade; and then I don't like the name or decide to... change it for any given reason. Sometimes we just goof -- between filling and labeling like when we labeled all the Cerise / Celestite. I've put Blueberry stickers on Indigo and Neroli on Lilly Pilly - they're close colors. Everything is hand done, so it happens, but when I notice it, I fix it.

I consider a limited edition something that I've mixed in a small quantity; or something that isn't going to be introduced into the core line. Like when I hit 15,000 fans, I was going to introduce a new color into the core line as Truffle, but ultimately decided it was better to do a limited edition as Phantasmagoria, so I changed those. Same thing with Cypress, I felt it was too close to Mint & Moss so instead of adding it to the core line, I made it a limited edition Mistletoe. It really depends on what I want to create on any given day."
