Le château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye

Seen on EXPLORE. The bottom half is medieval, the upper half redone by François 1er in the Renaissance style. Henri IV lived here as well as Louis XIV. Saint Louis had the chapel built to house holy relics. It is the model for la Sainte Chapelle in Paris.
