Caterpillar "web bridge" on Coast Live Oak

Here is webbing and a "web bridge" between leaves of Coast Live Oak (Quercus agrifolia, Fagaceae) in the woods a week ago. I believe is the webbing of a web-spinning caterpillar, and there is frass (poop) in the top of the photo. Happy Web Webnesday! (San Marcos Pass, 8 January 2025)
