Spider webbing on Black Sage
This is webbing between old seed whorls of native Black Sage (Salvia mellifera, Lamiaceae) in the woods today. I believe this is the work of a cribellate species of Mesh Web Weaver in the family Dictynidae, see this photo for the actual spider.
