Stiletto Fly (Therevidae) caught in a spider web
Here is a handsome fly (Diptera) tangled up in a spider web. The fly is a Stiletto Fly in the family Therevidae, Diptera - an uncommon fly in our mountains, and I wonder what twist of fate brought it to this end.
