Wild Bee (Hylaeus, Colletidae, Anthophila, Hymenoptera) on White Sage (Salvia apiana, Lamiaceae)

Here is a three shot sequence of a small Wild Bee (Anthophila, Hymenoptera) digging into a flower of native White Sage (Salvia apiana) in the Lamiaceae plant family. It's probably a Yellow-faced Bee aka Masked Bee in the genus Hylaeus of the family Colletidae. *Full disclosure* - the bee is actually coming out of the flower.
