Megachilid Bee (Megachilidae, Anthophoridae, Hymenoptera) on Sacapellote (Acourtia microcephala, Asteraceae)

Here are two photos of a handsome Megachilid Bee (Megachilidae, family Anthophoridae, order Hymenoptera) on new flowers of native Sacapellote (Acourtia microcephala) in the Asteraceae plant family. Maybe it is genus Megachile. These wild bees collect pollen on their abdomens rather than their hind legs, but this one appears to be more interested in nectar. (San Marcos Pass, 30 June 2014)
