Uppsala, Sweden - Uppsala Cathedral - nave entrance
This cathedral was originally used for coronations, from the church's conception in 1287 until 1872 all Kings and Queens of Sweden were crowned here. The coronation ceremonies were later moved to Stockholm Cathedral "Storkyrkan".
Noted persons buried inside are Gustav Vasa (considered by most to be Sweden's greatest King), Johan III (John III, Gustav Vasa's son), Carl von Linné (Botanist and Taxonomist who assigned Latin names to all plants and animals as we know them today), Nathan Söderblom (Nobel Peace Prize winner) and Saint Erik (Sweden's patron saint.)
