Kumul (Qumul) (Uyghur: قۇمۇل, ULY: Qumul) or Hami (Chinese: 哈密; pinyin: Hāmì) is an oasis city and the seat of Hami Prefecture, eastern Xinjiang, People's Republic of China; it is also the name of a modern city and the surrounding district.
It is well known nationally as the home of the famously sweet Hami melons.
