This girl climbed up this giant "Kang Lau Shek", when she was crawling down , she had a little bit afraid, her feet had a little bit shaking , but still with smile on her face.

Formation of Kang Lau Shek
The rocks on Tung Ping Chau are overspread with groups of crisscross cracks. These are fractures formed when the rock strata were under compression in early times. Fragmented rocks were removed because densely cracked rocks were influenced by intensive weathering and erosion, the impact of waves, differential expansion and contraction, and the crystallization of salt. Protected by the huge hard rock blocks on its top, Kang Lau Shek eroded more slowly than the surrounding rocks, gradually forming the two huge rock stacks that remain today.
更樓石的形成
東平洲的岩石佈滿幾組相互交錯的裂紋，那是岩層受到擠壓而產生的破裂。海岸的風化侵蝕特別嚴重，海浪的衝擊，冷縮熱漲，鹽分結晶等作用在裂隙密集的地方較為強烈，破碎的岩石逐漸被移走。更樓石由於受到頂部較堅硬的大塊岩塊保護，風化侵蝕速度比四周的岩石慢，漸漸形成了兩座突出地表的巨大石柱。
