After planning a trip out into the East Midlands on the promise of some sun, I woke up last Friday to a very different forecast. Not wanting to put the mileage in for a cloudy sky I set about hatching a more local fallback plan. And so off to Plumley it was for the classic shot and the chance at 2 tugs. With plenty of separation between it the the proceeding unit, DB Cargo 60044 "Dowlow" is seen coasting along the Mid Cheshire Line with 6H02 Arpley Sidings - Tunstead empty limestone hoppers.
Unfortunately the cloud came in for 60095 on 6E09 shortly after and I headed home with a bee in my bonnet. Thankfully my luck for the day changed in the afternoon as can be seen by my previous uploads. All in, not a bad change of plans!
