Trains In Tasmania - 2113 on Ballast Duties at Tea Tree
Late on the Wednesday afternoon I was rather surprised to find a ballast train at Tea Tree waiting for track workers at the kps 40 marker to drop ballast in this area between Tea Tree and Campania. With daylight rapidly running out I'm not sure if they were able empty all the ballast from this extra long ballast train. Indeed the inclusion of 4 older ZH ballast wagons was my first sighting of using these wagons with the new rake. Ageing English Electric Z Class units 2113 + 2111 were the motive power.
