A Getaway Spot

The Fallingwater house by Frank Lloyd Wright sits in a stunning array of nature. Designed by Wright in 1935, and built between 1936 and 1939, it's truly a sight to behold with your own eyes. It's so far ahead of its time. The Kaufmann family of the Kaufmann Department Store chain, worked with Wright to design this, their retreat home, on wooded land that they owned. I say What a retreat! Most if not all of the furniture inside the house was designed for the house by Wright. It was designed in such a way to make it feel like it belonged in its surroundings. With that, it sits over a flowing stream with two waterfalls beneath it.
