New Train Chaser capsule
After a couple month search for a car to replace the Tacoma, I bought this '06 4Runner. Had first started looking for a 2003-2005 4wd double cab Tacoma, but soon found they were made out of this new space age material called "unobtanium". So after that, started looking at everything from the 4Runner to Santa Fe, to sedans. After much research and driving, I decided to look for an '05 4Runner.
Again there was difficultiy in locating what I wanted, so this '06 came up and I pulled the trigger. It's 4wd, Sport Edition with the 4.0 V6. It rides and drives very very good, has decent power, lots of room and acceptable gas mileage.
Hopefully, unlike the Tacoma, I will keep the wheels on the ground with this one :)
