NRE Silvis
With the sale of NRE's former Rock Island Silvis Shop to the Railroading Heritage of Midwest American (Friend's of 261), the yard is going to start looking different soon. NRE has assembled all of their "keeper" locomotives onto 2 tracks. Everything saved were 6-axle EMD's: SD40-2s (including various rebuilds and tunnel motors) and SD50s.
NRE is leasing back a portion of the property for 5 years, so these EMD's will stick around a little bit longer.
