60116 and 60810 Gateshead 26th February 1965

60116 "Hal O' the Wynd" was one of Gateshead's A1s that gained the the Door straps and buffer treatment seen here. At the time I was totally unaware that weeks later all of Gatesheads A1 and V2 allocation would be heading for storage at Heaton and Tyne Dock sheds.
