Lunar Eclipse 4 March 2007 0037 UT

or 3 March 2007 1837 CST.

The almanac said the sunset was at 6.13 pm and the moon rise was at 6.11 pm. We drove to Whiterock Mountains to try and 'catch' it at rise. I was distracted by the gorgeous sunset en route, but didnt want to lose the moon rise. After driving through all that dirt road, we were there, right place, right time: wrong equipment. This point and shoot is not designed for astrophotography. So the event was seen, but cannot be shown like I wanted to. This was 30 minutes after the rise. See comments below for shots taken at different times.

Have a great Sunday!

I wanted to show you all the photos in one place. I have included the large size photos of the series below. If it gets difficult to scroll down, please let me know, I will decrease the size.
