On the north Normandy coast - or the D-Day landings coast if you prefer, Grandcamp-Maisy is a charming quiet little fishing port town/village, with a good handful of working trawlers aside a small pleasure craft marina and from what I can tell, a bit of a Mecca for amatuer shrimpers.
