Art in Salzburg, Austria
Stephan Balkenhol′s "Sphaera" is a man on a golden sphere on the Kapitelplatz next to the Salzburger Dom cathedral in Salzburg, Austria. In the background on the hill, you can see Hohensalzburg Fortress. The fortress is over 900 years old and was originally built to guarantee the safety of the archbishops; while also serving as barracks and a prison. Today it is a museum and a wonderful place to visit!
