Wet Leaves

Sometimes it appears that the simplest things in life are the most beautiful. I spotted the death of these once young leaves while crossing a foot bridge and thought of my own mortality. In contrast the spring dew is bringing new life to the surrounding foliage. I am walking and am alive yet each moment heading towards death.
