Peggy's Cove

About:
Well I haven't had time to get out shooting lately but when the sky looked promising last Saturday afternoon I decided to take a drive to Peggy's Cove (yeah I know; big surprise :-) Anyway, I grabbed my gear and headed out. The closer I got to the coast the better the skies kept getting. I was psyched! I got there, set up my tripod, opened my bag and SHIT no camera!! I forgot I had left it my small bag from the last time I was out doing some street photography. Damn, all I could do was laugh at myself for being so dumb and not checking my main bag before I left home.
I was about to just give up and head home when I remembered that my iPhone has a decent camera so I rested it on the tripod and set it to the HDR mode. I am quite impressed with the dynamic range it captured in this high contrast scene.
Processing:
I figure I should provide a little info here as although the iPhone did a great job picking up alot of detail I did do quite a bit of dodging and burning to get the most out of the shot. I also did the usual layers of curves, hues/saturation, straighten, crop, etc...
*edit* - I forgot to mention I opened the image first using CS5 Camera Raw and used the noise reduction there as this shot has a fair bit of noise in the sky.
EXIF data:
Just my iPhone 4, I never leave home without it :-)
Please, no multiple invites or crazy glittery graphics. Thank You
