On the Loan Prairie

I began photographing Detroit on New Year's Day, 2004. A few years laterr, this one neighborhood was getting a makeover and dilapidated homes were ripped down and these thin small houses were planted in replacement. They didn't really last long as not that long after being built, some were abandoned and vandalized. Already many have themselves been demolished.
