Grauniad Typo Turns RBS Profit Into £44.7bn Loss

In a classic Guardian clanger, a well researched piece on RBS profit/loss figures for the first half of 2009 is illustrated by a graph which turns the £5bn profit into a £44.7bn loss. Oops.

Not the best photo, but the second red bar (loss) is for the US Retail & Commercial operation, which is listed as losing £51bn.

Don't be too hasty to judge though, happens to the best of us.
