Owlet keeping close watch

A quick, after-work stop to check on this local great horned owl nest. There were two in the nest on my last visit but on this one, there was only one left in there. The second had hopped out and climbed a nearby tree, pictures of which didn't come out. Nevertheless, it is good see a successful fledging and the second will soon follow. Taken in Adams County, Colorado.
