Newborn calf and mama

Certainly not a type of animal I normally photography but coming across this pair I had to snap a few pictures. Judging by how wobbly it was when it stood up, this calf couldn't have been but a day or two old. Mama was standing dutifully by keeping watch on her newborn. Taken in Adams County, Colorado.
