SKL/45 naval guns of Batterie Lothringen dates from 1917. Manufactured by Fried. Krupp AG. Essen originaly mounted as secondary armourment on W.W.1 German Battleships.

 

This could fire a 44kg high explosive shell up to a maximum range of 18,000 metres.

 

Installed at Noirpont, Jersey, Channel Islands.

 

The Germains did not encourage visitors.
