Christmas in suburbia
Rain in Alamosa, today. At about 35 degrees right now and dropping, we keep watching out the window to catch the moment it turns to snow.
We moved into town from the mountains mostly for the kids so they could be closer to all their stuff/friends, and partly to save money on the $500-some gas expenses every month commuting back and forth to the office. But neither of us have been able to get "content" in the suburbs, we keep pressing our noses to the window back toward the open spaces and peaks and hills.
Ah, sacrifice.
