Jeff Lynne - Leader of ELO
ELO, originally Electric Light Orchestra, has been around since the 1970's, when they released their best-selling album (Out of the Blue) and many hit singles. Jeff Lynne wrote and produced almost everything, with a mix of rock and classical instruments. In addition to the keyboard, guitars and drums here, you can also see a violin and two cellos. While they started out sounding somewhat like the Beatles, they have a unique sound.
Jeff Lynne was also a Traveling Wilbury and has written and arranged hundreds of songs for others.
This photo was taken from about halfway back at the SAP Center in San Jose, CA, the first time that ELO has played there in their 50 years. Jeff Lynne looks pretty good for 71.
