The ROM outgrew the original wing, so they built the new supermodern wing. The main entrance was formerly in the "middle" on the old side (Queen's Park). You can see the new entrance in the lower right side of this photo.
Inside, it looks much more consistent, though. The ROM contains a highly diverse set of pieces, from excellent Canadiana, and the best fossil collection east of Drumheller, Alberta. There are also thousands of artifacts, many from Canadian history, which complement those in the Univ. of British Columbia's Anthropology Museum, and the BC provincial museum.
