This year, 2012 is the centenary of the introduction of the 127 film format by Kodak in 1912. To mark this anniversary, I have been using as many 127 cameras as I can this year.
The Babette, with it's "optical lens" is really a toy 127 film camera. It takes 16 photos on a roll, each negative is 3cm x 4cm.
!27 film is now scarce, so I respooled some 35mm Agfa Vista from Poundland onto an old 127 reel, which means that the whole width of the film is exposed and the sprocket holes are visible.
The poor lens quality and light leaks are very much in evidence!
