Palau Guell Chimneys 3
Nine adjacent frames taken with the Wray Stereo Graphic camera that I first used in week 59 of my 52 film cameras in 52 weeks project:
This camera takes stereo pairs, and on the negatives, each pair is two frames apart, so between each pair there are two other single frames.
These have not turned out at all as I expected, the problem was gross over-exposure, the shutter speed is fixed at 1/50th second, and the smallest aperture is f16. The "Sunny Sixteen" rule would give a correct exposure of 1/200th second for the ISO 200 C41 colour negative film that I used. The sun in Barcelona was very bright, so over-exposure was inevitable, and it is possible that the shutter has slowed down with age, further compounding the problem.
I developed the film in the Tetenal C41 kit (in the same tank as another film, which was fine) and the negatives were extremely dense. Some salvage has been possible with post-processing, though most of the colour has been lost. Despite all that, I quite like the results.
