horse chestnut

Taken with Eljy (type 4) camera in week 51 of my 52 film cameras in 52 weeks project:

The film was an original Lumipan film made for this camera's format, it is 30mm wide and comes on a roll with backing paper, giving eight exposures. The film expired in 1952, and would have been made a couple of years before that, making it around 60 years old. I would not have been surprised if there had been nothing on the film, and the results are better than I expected. I developed it in Ilfosol 3 1:14 dilution for 16 minutes at 16 degrees C.

The sticky paper tape that holds the film to the paper was not as resilient as the film itself, and the film intially folded over and double back on itself, hence the interesting double exposure on the first frame.
