Horse Chestnut (bracketed exposures)
This was a test to see what happens when you "redscale" Fuji Velvia 50 colour slide film. I'd noticed when presoaking this film that there is an intense violet dye (presumably an anti-halation layer) that is released when the film gets wet. I wondered wheher respooling the film so that the emulsion is exposued through this layer would give a purple version of redscale film. It seems not, the results are very similar to redscaling a C41 film, which is suprosing as the base of the film is clear and not red/orange.
The camera was a Zeiss Ikon Nettar 515, which tkaes 16 exposures per roll. Cross-processed in the Fuji Hunt C41 kit.
