Women of Steel

I started my 52 cameras in 52 weeks project on 1st January 2010. It got rather out of hand and lasted a whole decade. Each week, without fail, I used a different film camera, a total of 522.

After 10 years, I am relaxing the pace, and revisiting all the cameras that I used for taking photographs, as opposed to collecting and displaying. I'm planning to do it in chronological order, using a different one each month.

In November I'm using a Horizon 202 swing lens panoramic camera. I bought this in 2008, having been intrigued in the 1970s by catalogie photos its predecessor, the Horizont. The camera uses 35mm film and takes negatives that are 24mm high and 58mm wide, the lens swings in an arc during the exposure and covers a 120 degree horizontal sweep.

The film is Kodak Color Plus 200, developed in the Tetenal C41 kit.
