Chameleon

Chameleons can see in a full 360 degree arc around their bodies. Their eyes move independently from each other, rotating and focusing separately to observe two different objects simultaneously.

If something is remarkable at South Luangwa, then it´s the quality of the night drives.

There is always something special to see like this chameleon. I don´t know, how they could see this green animal inbetween all green leaves in the night.

Especially the small carnivores like genets and civet cats are totally relaxed and used to spot light. Will post some of them in some days.
