Bánh Mì, if you did not discovered it yet, is the world best sandwich. I have eaten these for the last 20 years. The crusty bun, the barbecue pork, pickled carrots and radishes. It was good to try first time the authentic version in Vietnam. Toronto does quite well in comparison, but the bun is better and the fillings are more generous in Vietnam. You can pay between 15000 to 50000 dong ($0.7-$2.00) for Bánh Mì. The 47000 dong Bánh Mì I had in Saigon was the most expensive, but way too big for one person. It is not customized and comes with everything. Quán NY was very close to my guest house, but I did not try it's offering. The best one I tried was possibly in Hoi An. Quán means kiosk or shop in Vietnamese. Cà phê is of course coffee.
