Cycle Hire: Stop not cycling
A confusing sign on a Cycle Hire post outside Green Park station. It would indicate "end of no cycling route", although that has absolutely no meaning here as this appears in a small walled off area next to the payment on Piccadilly.
For boring people like me I'll point out that there is no such road sign. The end of a cycling prohibition should be signed (if at all) with either a blue cycleway sign or a grey end of prohibition sign with diagonal stripes. If you're interested (you're not???) then here is a link to the official cycle signs - see page 36. Or you can scroll a little way down this page on the DfT site.
