Devil in Disguise

I see her walk into the room

With an evil smile curved like lace

She felt my pain inside

Jabbed and stabbed at my problems I couldn't face,

Just to see me cry.

 

She tells me that she loves me more now

But it doesn't really show

I wanted to get up and walk away leaving her

But I just couldn't let her go.

 

I tell her that I need her, want her,

She sighs looks away from me

Tells me to make a promise

Not just make-believe.

 

She tells me that she's a devil

A devil in disguise

An angelic hell-bound evil

That will steal my soul and hang me out to dry.
