And Then You...

Then you touched me,

I turned my back,

you turned to look at me,

making love to me with your eyes,

speaking to me with your heart,

invisible harmonic waves caressed the depths of my soul.

 

And then you kissed me,

your wet lips dissolved into mine,

a spiritual experience where our souls touched,

sending paralyzing vibrations of senseless intoxication;

 

and then you cried,

your wet eyes full of words,

pain, loneliness, sorrow,

grasping every emotion that was of me;

 

and then you smiled,

with tears still in your eyes you kissed me again,

captivating me in your essence,

encapsulating me in the life that had brutalized you;

 

and then I knew,

we were meant to be together,

soul mates for eternity,

from your breathless mouth a gasp, a sigh, an exhale,

a droplet of hope flourished..

a whisper of joy.
