Disneyland - Father & Son

People-watching at Disneyland and Walt Disney World is always interesting, and while shots that humanize the parks have always intrigued me, I've found that I don't have a particular knack for them. When I have captured decent photos of people in the parks, I've always wondered about their stories, and have sometimes tried to invent my own stories for them, a la "Scenes From An Italian Restaurant."

What's the story of this father and son? Maybe it was their first visit to the parks together, father taking son on a classic Disneyland attraction he experienced, much like his son was that day, for the first time as a child in 1971. Maybe the son had long been afraid of the teacups, and finally decided to take his first spin that day. Maybe this was their special monthly father-son visit to Disneyland and the Mad Tea Party is always the first attraction they hit after grabbing churros and slowly making their way up Main Street. We'll never know what they story was, exactly, but it's fun to speculate. Based upon their carefree looks, I'm guessing their story is a happy one.

See photos from "One More Disney Day" here: disneytouristblog.com/tag/disney24 I need to post other photos here so I can clear my queue a bit before our next trip.
