not sure what it is about the month of august but i can recall it being life changing a couple of years in a row now. double o eight was propagandhi and germany, double o nine was the west coast usa roadtrip.
shift to 2010 and its a visit from mark and sarah, travelling up through south america and the states. only to drop in on canada and yours truly.
next was the beauty that was the shook ones show in victoria, a proper small hardcore show. the connection to the band was intense, the photos will hopefully show that.
last but certainly not at all least, was the road trip i took supermini on. we were destined for rose prairie, BC. but our final route took us through the okanagan, the kootnays, banff, lake louise, the rockies in alberta, jasper, grande prairie, fort saint john. then back home through hudson hope, chetwynd, lillouet, pemberton, whistler and vancouver.
then later in the month i was visited in victoria by kathryn and her friend jane. we had an awesome high tea, all be it hungover as hell.
it was simply one of the greatest road trips i have ever been on and really confirmed that BC is simply the greatest place on earth. oh and western alberta is alright too!
